Career Highlights & Contributions

  • Conducted capacity development, training, and facilitation for government ministries, local representatives, development partners, civil society, and private sector stakeholders in the areas of governance, federalism, SDGs, and inclusion.

  • Key roles and achievements:

    1. Designed and facilitated nationwide orientation/training for local government leadership on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), good governance, gender equality, social inclusion, and federalism (since 2018).

    2. Drafted the Localisation Strategy of SDGs with GESI focus (2018) for the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration.

    3. Prepared governance policies, strategies, and guidelines on good governance, gender-responsive budgeting, and social inclusion (2014–2022).

    4. Actively contributed to Nepal’s federal transition as a member/secretary in several high-level taskforces, including:

      • National Policy and Strategy for Civil Service Reform

      • Transitional Management Plan for federalism implementation

      • Compilation of Supreme Court administrative case precedents

      • Public Institution Reform and Capacity Building initiatives

    5. Served as sociologist member in:

      • Post-Earthquake 2015 Socio-Cultural and Demographic Impact Study (Ministry of Health, Tribhuvan University, and Population Division)

      • Nepal Social Inclusion Survey 2013 (National Planning Commission & Tribhuvan University)

    6. Designed and facilitated capacity-building programs for marginalized and indigenous communities across Nepal in collaboration with the Ministry of Local Development and Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NEFIN).
