Born in 25th June 1990 in the picturesque village of Thakle, Kavre, Kanchha Rhythm Tamang—also known as Kanchha Man Tamang—is a passionate and dedicated singer and music composer making his mark in the Nepali and Tamang music scene.

From a young age, Kanchha developed a deep connection with music. After completing his SLC in 2065 B.S. from Shri Mangal Jan Higher Secondary School, he pursued formal music education at Lalit Kala Campus in 2066. Although he studied there for just a year, his passion led him to further vocal training at Shri Krishna Gurukul Pathshala, where he passed his first-year vocal exam with first division and continued his training for another five months in the second year. He later went abroad for some time, and upon returning, he fully immersed himself in his musical journey.

Kanchha’s songs are deeply rooted in the traditions, stories, and emotions of the Tamang community, often blending cultural richness with modern melodies. His soulful voice and meaningful compositions resonate with audiences across generations.

Over the years, he has released several songs that highlight his versatility and artistic depth:

1. “Anon Hinna” – A heartfelt Tamang love song with lyrics by Bishal Kaltan and music by Kanchha Rhythm Tamang and Jitu Lopchan.

2. “Khalang Nise Hayanggi Darem” – A melodious duet with Nirmala Ghising, lyrics by Prashant Tamang Waiba, and music by Buddha Syangba.

3. “Lhochhar” – A festive celebration song with lyrics by Phulkumar Bomjan and music by Chandra Kumar Dong.
