Early Life and Formation of 1974 AD

Phiroj Shyangden was born in Darjeeling, West Bengal, India, and later moved to Kathmandu. His musical journey took a significant turn when he, along with Nirakar Yakthumba and Bhanu Ahamed, formed the band 1974 AD in 1994 while they were teachers at Gyanodaya School in Lalitpur.
