Tenzi Pakhrin was born in the serene village of Phaplu in Solukhumbu, Nepal . Growing up in a region renowned for its natural beauty, Tenzi developed a strong sense of community and a deep appreciation for his cultural heritage. He received basic education in his hometown, which laid the foundation for his future endeavors.
After completing his schooling, Tenzi enlisted in the Nepal Army, where he served for three and a half years. This experience instilled in him values of discipline, leadership, and resilience. Following his military service, he transitioned to the tourism sector, dedicating 14 years to promoting Nepal as a travel destination, while also serving as the former president of Tamang Ghedung UK.
Tenzi’s passion for social welfare led him to establish First Educate Nepal UK, where he serves as the founder, trustee, and chair. His commitment to education and community development has made a significant impact on the lives of many in Nepal.
In addition to his social contributions, Tenzi is a gifted lyricist, known for his creative expression through music. One of his notable achievements is producing the first Nepali drama, समय दृष्य (Scenario of Time), which was showcased in the UK, highlighting his dedication to the arts and cultural representation.
Having traveled to 43 countries, Tenzi has gained a wealth of experiences that enrich his perspective on life. He currently resides in the UK, where he continues to engage in social work and artistic pursuits, inspiring others with his journey of service and creativity.
