A special team of Rs. 50,000/- collected by the Belgium coordinator of Mhendolafole Foundation, Rajkumar Lama, has been handed over to the family of Gyan Bahadur Tamang of Kavre Temal Rural Municipality Ward No. 4, Mahure Bhanjyang, who was displaced due to the natural disaster of flood and landslide on Asoj 12, on Mangsir 6.
A special team of Mhendolafole Foundation advisor cultural expert Ajitman Tamang, researcher and writer Rabindra Tamang, Motivational Speaker Bikash Dev Yonjan Tamang and Foundation Chairman Sunil Lama reached Mahure Bhanjyang and handed over the assistance amount to the victim family, wishing for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
When the landslide destroyed their home, the victim Gyan Bahadur lost his life partner and daughter-in-law. Currently, he is living in a tent with his son and three young grandchildren. Since education is the future of these young children, the Mhendolafole Foundation has committed to taking the initiative to support donors to provide quality education to these young children up to secondary level. The Foundation believes that the cooperation of supportive minds will bring a change in their lives in the future.
Finally, special thanks are expressed to the Belgium coordinator Rajkumar Lama and the supporting donors: Arya Tara Group Belgium and Raj Anu Yang Karunamay Fund for helping to raise funds for the initiative of the Mhendolafole Foundation, which has helped to bring a little smile to the lips of the affected families.
