Veteran and beloved Nepali folk and Tamang Selo singer Indira Gole Gurung is currently battling a severe illness, cancer. To aid her urgent treatment and help her return to the musical world, the “Save Indira Gole Gurung Campaign” was initiated.
In this critical time, Nepali social workers residing in the United States, Maya Ghising and Wongden Gomja Tamang, have extended their generous support to this cause. Maya Ghising contributed NPR 10,100, and Wangden Gomja Tamang also donated NPR 10,100, making a total of NPR 20,200. The amount has been directly deposited into Indira Gole Gurung’s personal account to assist with her medical expenses.
The campaign team expresses heartfelt gratitude for their kindness and significant contribution. Together, we hope to see Indira Gole Gurung recover swiftly and continue to grace the musical world with her melodious voice.
